More than a brand

IT'S A MOVEMENT

THIS IS THE BRONX.

Nearly nine years ago, brother and sister duo Amaurys and Rosa Grullón looked around and saw something missing. Brooklyn had its merch. Harlem had its gear. New York had its pride. But The Bronx? The birthplace of Hip-Hop, the home of Salsa, the borough that gave the world so much culture—we had nothing that truly represented us in the streetwear world.

So in 2017, we created it ourselves.

Born from Frustration, Built on Pride

Bronx Native wasn't born in a boardroom or a design studio. It was born from frustration with the stereotypes, the erasure, and the lack of representation. We were tired of seeing our borough reduced to headlines and overlooked in the culture we created. We wanted to celebrate Bronx creativity, resilience, and identity—and address the sociopolitical issues our community faces every day.

When developers tried to rebrand Mott Haven as "The Piano District," erasing decades of South Bronx history and culture, we put our flag up and said: This is still The South Bronx. That's what Bronx Native is about—resistance, preservation, and pride.

From Pop-Up to Cultural Hub

What started as a 2-week pop-up shop turned into something we never imagined. We sold out all our merch in just one week. The landlord offered us a lease on the spot. That pop-up became a permanent home—not just a store, but a cultural hub for creatives, entrepreneurs, open mics, workshops, and community events.

We don't just sell clothes. We create space. Space for local voices. Space for collaboration with Bronx artists. Space for our community to gather, organize, and build.

A Movement, Not Just a Brand

In October 2024, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson proclaimed October 5th as Bronx Native Day—a recognition of nearly a decade of work preserving our culture and championing our community. We celebrated our 8th anniversary with a block party on Lincoln Avenue, bringing together the neighbors, artists, and families who make this movement real.

For over 7 years, our BronxGiving program has provided Thanksgiving meals and support to our community. Because this has always been bigger than business—it's about taking care of our own.

Buy Here. Print Here. Sell Here. Pay Rent Here.

Every purchase you make contributes to the economic empowerment of The Bronx. We design here, we print here, we employ here, and we pay rent here. We're committed to keeping Black and Brown dollars circulating in our borough, supporting local businesses, and building generational wealth in our community.

Bronx Native is multidimensional: we're a clothing brand, yes—but we're also community organizers, cultural preservationists, and a platform for local artists and entrepreneurs.

Join the Movement

When you wear Bronx Native, you're not just wearing a brand. You're wearing a statement of authenticity, resistance, and pride. You're supporting a movement to preserve our culture against gentrification and displacement. You're standing with a community that refuses to be erased.

This is more than merch. This is The Bronx.

Welcome to Bronx Native. Let's build together.

Bronx Roots. Global Reach. Always Reppin'

More than Merch

Culture, community, and creativity—from the South Bronx to the world.

Bronx Native is more than a brand; it’s a movement born in the heart of the Bronx—bold, creative, and unapologetically proud. Founded by Amaurys Grullon, a visionary raised in the borough, what started as a small pop-up has evolved into a global platform. We fuse fashion, art, and storytelling to uplift our culture and celebrate our people. This isn’t just merch—it’s identity, unity, and self-expression. It’s the Bronx, shared with the world.
